visual sound pedals

hey everyone,

has any one played or owned any visual sound pedals, in particular the h20 echo/chorus.
i'm looking to change my delay pedals, which at the moment is either an echopark or a danelectro.
as much as i like the echopark, i dont really use it as much. i'm after something a little more analouge, which is why i went back to my PB&J.

i'm thinking the h20, which gives me chorus as well which i can set to a leslie tone. any other ideas welcome.

I think their new designs look cool. A search for "Jekyll" or "Hyde" in this forum will get you Doog's thoughts on it - he found it a bit annoying.

The double 808 thing would be good for Tubescreamer heads, their pedals don't appeal to my tastes though.

The jekyll hyde is my favorite pedal for distortion/overdrive.............to each is own

I haven't used a Jekyll hyde but I do find tubescreamers really useful as I'm a one-channel amp kind of guy and I never use sparkling clean tones.

A friend of mine who plays extremely technical music uses the Jekyll hyde with an old ampeg V-4 and his sound is clear, percussive, and jaw-dropping! He gets a nice crunch and full on metal gain using just the Jekyll hyde, a boss EQ and the clean channel on the v-4 with am SG.

If you want a tubescreamer with more gain and EQ, it's a good choice. That's really all it does though.

I had a Jekyll and Hyde. The OD was very nice (However i think my reissue ibanez tubescreamer ts808 sounds better) and the Distortion sounded good but only with the EQ all the way down, if the EQ knob is turned up it gets wayyy too wierd and nazily.
