Dave - the treadle can only control the rate of each setting - with the two weirdy stereo modes you can set the rate of the square wave manually, and use your foot to control the round wave, or vice versa. Or something. Info here if you're really interested. Can't wait to get it.
That certainly is an awesome pedal. For a while now, I've been thinking how awesome it would be to have a trem pedal that you can control with your foot. With this thing, you can totally sound like The Who's organ tones. I think it would be more useful for me if I could swell the depth, not the rate. I'll have Sub make one for me.

There are a few trem pedals with an expression pedal input - Ronsound will do that, for one. Really looking forward to getting the chopper, my son (2 year old pedal tweaker*) will love it to bits.

* When I say he tweaks them, I don't mean he mods Blueboxes etc. - what I mean is, while I play he switches them on and off and turns the dials. When this is good, we're like a father and son Comets on Fire; when it's bad, he turns my muff up too loud, scares himself and starts crying.

Ahaha..."Tonight at 10...nothing happened." Oh well, the analogesque repeats sounded great, and they were one of the first to do digital delay with such goodness plus tap tempo, eh?

Good work on both accounts. As one myself who hadn't a clue what the thing was, I think you covered the Chopper's curious inner working quite well, that blend function was an interesting amplitude combo indeed, and it was really neato to see how short you could actually get the square wave to...well, chop. COOOLZ.
