In ways its sexy, and then it just goes and over does it and becomes too busy. I wouldn't even mind the gold hardware if it was a bit more minimal, especially the bridge. The little bit stuck on the tailpiece looks like someone blu-tac'd a belt buckle on there and did a shit job of it too.

That's what's sexy about it. I guess you're just not a country guy.

I think what I like best is they've gone for a burnt orange rather than just a semi transparent range. It definitely carries the feel but some of the touches are just tacky.

Yea, for western movie fans. I dig it, but the controls are goofy. vol. knob for each pick up and for the master, but only 1 tone knob...
If you think of god as a pair of pants, a spiritualist thinks he needs pants, in fact he wants pants but none of the conventional types of pants seem to fit just right, so he makes his own pants and is happy that his knees are no longer cold.-fibus

with very few exceptions, Gretsch guitars have the worst colors and finishes.

at first glance, it seemed really cool... but now that i look at it closer, that belt buckle is kind of retardo and the wood looks like a door.

I like everything but the little steer heads in the inlays. The color is great though.
