I own a Kramer strat but I don't think it counts. Here's a pic anyway. First guitar, stickered up and girly. You've seen it before.

If I did own a Fender strat, it would look just like this:

Has had the frets dressed once since new, as I didn't play it much for 15 years or so.

I really like the paint job too.

I would love a proper proper proper Strat. I love the sound of them when you hit them hard. A Mustang is this inbetween thing for me. Kinda like a Strat but not really.

I have a LPB 60's reissue strat. It works well for clean, but leaves a lot to be desired as far as distorted tones go.

thanks to all of you guys...

yeah it used to be a boring all-white strat when i told my wifey i give her "free hand" to just pimp it somehow.
2 hours later, with some nailpolish and magic markers it was done. i love it... it sure is a SPECIAL guitar.
i gotta put a coat of laquer over it, else it will rub away with time...

left: '91 MIA. Really chunky style body
right: '98 MIM until I can warmoth the body and neck - kind of 'borrowed' some ideas from the old early-80's schecters

Image
'94-ish MIJ Squier, 60's reissue job

Image
'01 MIA Special Edition - sold shortly after I got it.
