I owned one of these, paid like $60 at guitar center and later sold it on ebay for something like $125.

It was a hard pedal to get rid of because of all the bases it covered. I still kinda miss it but I remember selling it to fund something else, I just can't quite remember what.

Hurb bought a xp-1000 and I believe it was his by now obsolete XP-300 that got molested. I think.

I've got a xp-1000. Get here quicker so you can try it out cos basically...its the best pedal made by the art of digital signal processing. Theres a sticky on the guitar geek forums where the guy does it.

It is a good mod and it is a very pro job.
You can hear the space station on my demo. the modulation isn't all that grand. the reverbs are ok the gated is the best. and you have the whammywah already.
so basically imo your only doing it for the space station... if thats worth it for you then do it!

i have one and love it, there are some interesting reverbs, the whammy wah is alright but i have a whammy pedal so it isn't much use to me except as a backup, the modulation section...well i don't really know what i can use it for yet, but i might find something, and the space station is pure magic.

the sounds aren't subtle, very little dry signal comes through, but there are a tonne of uses for this pedal by itself, and even more if you link it up to other pedals. personally i want to try it out with an e-bow, some fuzz, and maybe even an re-20. for the price, it's worth it, but i would contact the guy who does the mods first, he told me that certain pedals are better for the mods then others, i think it was the xp300 and 400 but i'm not sure, he's over on the guitar geek forums.
