I just got this guy for $100 on ebay.
super cool. feels really great. I don't know about the pickups though. they're those kinds with magnets on the bottom to make them louder and bassier. I think I will replace them with some more normal strat style pickups.
hey, does the fender one have a big "swimming pool" route? this one does, it kind of gives it a bit of a semi-hollow sound.
where does one get the robroes?

Fender MIM Stand 2006 "Upgraded" Stratocaster, new to the family... bought her for €300 2nd hand last week. She still has the plastic on the pick guard, case candy, and gig bag... really don't like the guitar it has no soul.
knock off Gibson Les Paul purchased from paylessguitars.com.cn It's had all the original hardware removed... Hand Wound pups put in, Schaller Bridge, Grover Tuners, Gibson pots, completely rewired with vari-tone rotary switch.
Gibson SG Special bought online for €550 2nd hand, has Seymour Duncan coli tapped jazz pick up in the bridge and Grover mini tuners.
A Rickenbacker 330 Jetglo will joining the family soon, as will a white Gibson Less Paul from paylessguitars.com.cn that I will mod out like Buckethead's. Not that I like his music, just his mods...
I've added a few more guitars and got rid of some since I last posted pictures, so here are some new pics

Hi everyone, first post here. I'm a big fan of Mike and Hurb's demo's, so I thought I'd better sign up!!
Here's my Japanese Mustang that I got last week. it's a 94/95 model '69 reissue I believe. It my favorite guitar that I've ever owned by a mile, it's a little worn and beat up, but the neck feels lovely. I'm thinking of getting some seymour duncan antiquity pickups (will they be a big difference over the stock pups?) but apart from that i'm not gonna touch it.
I also own a 2007 shortscale squier jagmaster which is in bits and being respayed in 'ivory', i'll post pics of that in the other thread when it's back together (at the weekend hopefully)
