halp with amp plz
SO, i've had this fender frontman 15w amp for about a year and half now, and it's a nice little practice amp and everything, but it doesn't have a decent tone and isn't even loud enough for jamming hardly
i was wondering if you guys could point me to an amp that fits my needs
small to medium gigs, jamming, practice
preferably tube, won't cry if its a nice solid state tho
at least 30watts
1x12 or 2x10 at least
2 channel, preferably with separate eq
on-board reverb [MUST!!!]
foot switch is a must
can spend up to 600 maybe more =)
can anyone point me in the right direction? something so i can go play it

live in usa, on-board reverb is great, but i can always do a holy grail or something of the like
the classic 30 looks like a great fit, has the footswitch and all that stuff
the twin reverb looks ACE, seeing as how im a srv nut and what not so i'll keep an eagle eye out for a used one
going to the shop today and bringing my strat to play an ass load of amps!
thanks all

hmmm, I've never looked at those before. quick question, does the 112 have an external speaker connection?tragictravisty wrote:i have a peavey valveking 112 which seems to be what youre looking for. it has all of the things you posted. 50 watts 1x12. but you can take it down to 30. the clean channel is very good, the drive channel is just ok
cogito ergo sum...thing or other...
played a twin today and oooh was it nice.
i had the owner come out and complain that i had the gain channel up too loud, but that was the clean channel! and man does that thing break up nicley, takes it alot of volume, but i gig with everything on 10 as it is lol
if i find a fancy deal on a used one its mine
didnt get to play a classic 30 yet
does the 112 take alot of volume to naturally distort?
and i never though about this but do any have an effects loop?
i dont play with too many, just a pretty basic blues setup
