It's the Rick effect. Everything he does is a pile of wank.

that has to be the most jury rigged guitar setup I have ever seen in my life. I see zero reason to do that to your guitar. who is this guy? what's his website?

In theory, there are good reasons for doing this even if it does look 'retarded'...

His site is www.fenderjaguar.net

Don't knock it until you've tried it guys. ;) Aesthetically, it looks horrible, but it if works, then congratulations to Rick. It's interesting to see little mods like this that people have tried, even just to laugh at. Why are his saddles white though? I was only aware of the graphite replacements?

that looks like it would cause more tuning issues then it would solve, and it really offsets the strings from the poll pieces.

If anything it's the paper that's pushing the saddles out. the strings still sit in the middle of the saddles.

He's full of baloney ideas. Once suggested renting and getting a mortgage was stupid and that people should build their own houses.
Also that UK Pounds are worth nothing abroad, negating to realise that you can exchange them for local currency.

He's a maniac.

ROFL, that was well funny. Wasn't he on about building his house behind a rugby goal post or something, or just in a field?

Fuckin' potheads.

Can't get that pic or Rick's site to work, but I recall that method looking mongoloid'D..

And not just because he modded my personal page on the Wiki saying I was fat and should grow up

Nah, that was my satire of him. I said "Shall I just build a house in the Goals down my local park then?"
