Yea they do. I dig the knobs.

I love my Mustang knobs. There was never any other option in my book when I started building pedals.

Cunt!

Mustang knobs ftw. I accidently ordered some extras and was very pleased with my mistake.

Possibly a bit cheeky asking right now seeing as I've not paid you for the other, but how much'd you reckon a Vintage Rat clone'd cost? D: Or a Big Muff? Just thinking for end of the summer or something.

I have a RAT layout lying around, although the LM308 chip that's in it is quite pricey these days at £4. I could do it for £70 I reckon.

A Big Muff I'd have to hunt around for schematics because there's a whole heap of revisions of it - but I imagine it would be about the same.

I've got a Tonepad Big Muff that I lost interest in building. I think everything is on it except for pots. Bob can have it for free if you wanna finish it up for him.

Sure why not? Any idea what revision of the design it is?

I'd love to know what's in NickD's green one. That pedal is off the hook.

Which one did you build?

I built the one in the link I gave. It was before they did the multiple versions build pdf.

I'm pretty sure the Triangle one is the one NickD has, right? I'll try prototyping that at some point and see how it sounds.

Weird, second time I clicked it went to a schematic, teh first time it went to a webpage with links on it. I think yours is the "black" one, since it doesn't have the 820 ohm emitter resistor the Triangle Muff has.

I wonder if I can find info on the Lemon Fuzz now I think about it.

I can bring both to Doogfest if you can tell what's inside by looking.

The lemon fuzz might be difficult to find a schematic for - it's just one bloke making them from home.

Yeah I had a look about, all I found out is it's a germanium pnp based fuzz from his website. He does them for £54 which is a well decent price, cheaper than I could make it to be honest.

This is a Bass Fuzz I'm making for Astro. I primed it this morning. It's going to be Orange with an Orange LED, and he's going to add a Pumpkin design to it afterwards, which I'm looking forward to seeing.

Other projects/ideas buzzing around:

I have a case drilled for a BoxOfMike and painted which I'm going to build a board I have completed into shortly. It'll go up for sale but if noones bothered then I'll keep it for me.

I'm going to build a Special Pedal for Mezz, it's like a Ring Modulator line driver thing. Exciting.

I'm halfway through breadboarding the Russian Green Big Muff version (same as NickD has). I remember this sounding amazing:
Image

It's a complex circuit so it will be built into a HurbFuzz/BoxofMike size box when done, unsure of vertical or horizontal orientation yet.

I also have a Yellow Case painted and drilled for a Booster of whatever design.

Designs I'm looking to prototype shortly on breadboard: Green Big Muff Pi, Klon, Guv'nor, Shredmaster, HotCake
