I dig it.
If you think of god as a pair of pants, a spiritualist thinks he needs pants, in fact he wants pants but none of the conventional types of pants seem to fit just right, so he makes his own pants and is happy that his knees are no longer cold.-fibus

Nice! You got a really good deal. They're great guitars.
I've got the hardtail version in silver sparkle. I wanted to be like Billy Zoom. Unfortunately, it didn't work.

thanks all! i loved the way it sounded plugged into a simple little fender champ...it took me AGES to figure out the bigsby when I restrung it...then i realized that i was a fucking knob and i figured it out in two seconds.

this guitar is so nice in my hands...me lovey.

That is EPIC! I was tempted to buy one at $400 at my local Gc. Those are great playing guitars!

Yeah they can take a while to get used too. I normally glide my bigsby in(Gretsch 2001 HotRod), opposed to treating it like a normal tremelo. I<3 Gretschs.

i've been pining for one forever...and since i don't have the 4k to drop on a hollow-body gretsch...this will have to do for now.

what do you mean "gliding?

I take it from the downward(the end of the bar facing the knobs), and swing the bar upwards, as well as pushing the arm down.

Kind of like how Brian Setzer does it aswell(i think?). It works best for either the first use of the tremelo, or for slower tremelo use.
