What do the resistors in this circuit do?

Pickups, pedals, amps, cabs, combos

What do the resistors in this circuit do?

I'm building a simple A/Y box similar to this to combine the output from two sources to go into one amp. Do I need to worry about these resistors for this purpose?

The 1k5 is limiting the current to the LEDs. If you want the LEDs yes you need it.

The others stop a "pop" noise when you click the footswitch.

I would definitely drop the 20p to do it properly.

haha.. fair play.

Given that the 3PDT is going to cost around ร‚ยฃ5 you might aswell tack all the other components onto the order from SmallBear or whatever.

I'll pop into maplin. Why do they write 1k5 and not 1.5k? That's what it means, isn't it? I also bought an MXR dist+ kit to go in my old MXR dist+ box instead of Yunn's diarhoeaa fuzz.

Because a . is hard to see on a schematic or Printed Circuit Board layout.

What is Yunn's fuzz like, apart from loose and uncomfortable?

It's also from the olden days when all this stuff used to be photocopied and screenprinted etc. The dots would get lost in time and lead to badness.

The difference between 1.5K and 15K is pretty large.

It really badly woolys-up your sound when the pedal is off, but turned on it's actually not terrible. The volume is way too high, but it does a kind of glitchy oscillation when you're not playing, and a typical superfuzz when you do, but with unpredicatable decay. None of this, I'm sure, was intentional.

He fucked up the bypass? If it's got a 3PDT then Yun is more special than I ever thought.

I saw his "Rocket Booster" schematic on DIYstompboxes the other day: ROLF.
