Gib/Epi T-bird pups

Does anyone know if the Gibson t-bird bass pups are interchangable with Epi t-bird bass pups size wise? I'm working on an Epi t-bird bass and the guy wants Gibby pups installed.Since I am not familiar with Gibson,I'm not sure if I would have to route this thing to put in Gibson pups.Any help is appreciated.Thanks.

I think it really depends on the model. A lot of the epiphone T-bird basses I see are the "goth" model. Those have regular looking bass humbuckers. The Gibby regular T-birds have what looks like bass minihumbuckers with chrome mounts.
