It sounds pretty nice but it just looks odd. The red one in the back looks pretty sweet though.

I don't really like his 3 disortion pedals maxed out at once tone, but I sort of like the guitar. I think it would work if he managed to get a goldtop-esque pickguard n there with a slightly changed design.

I love that people do this sort of thing. I'd much rather see a lot of guitars like this that I wasn't sure about than parts guitars that look exactly like new fenders you can buy anyway.

I am not sure about the body though, it looks like someone ran over a les paul with a steamroller and it came out roger rabbit style.

The jazzy shape always looks a bit awkward without a pickguard because the body is quite big. That one guy here has one without one but it had a tele bridge which seems to make up for it somewhat.

I dig it - he needs to play some spanky clean stuff, though.

No way, you have to go with the pearl inlays if you are going for the les paul look

I really dig it actually. I'm not quite sure I like the traditional lp style knob layout on it, mostly as I find it pretty unnecessary on my lp, and it just looks kinda weird on an offset design (the knob pattern is reverse because of it). I know it'd be blasphemy because it's supposed to be a merger of only 2 guitars, but I think it'd be cool if he made a firebird style pg for it. However, it looks to be carved top so that wouldn't work...

I am pretty into it. It would have been more correct with the Trapezoid, but thats what he wanted I guess. There was a detailed step by step on OSG.

Jazzy: Headstock/square blocked & bound neck/scale?
Lester: Top bound gold body/bound neck/TOM bridge+stop piece/P90s.

Nukes for pukes, I'll say that's a decent balance as is, and I really like the Fenderesque purity of everything from the neck pocket on up. Just the same, the addition of Jazzmaster p'ups to make it a less of an overall '54 would be the most significant shift in Leo's direction that I'd wholeheartedly approve (though not the dood's intention from what I can tell). With hardtail hum'd Jags in abundance, it would be interesting to see/hear a proper hardtail'd Jazzo.
