this is probably the most recent pick of the body since i got bored and grabbed a paint brush and some house paint

anyways i destroyed the neck last year at a gig and couldn't think of anything to do with it, so it sat in a box until last week (i snagged a jagmaster neck from ebay)
but the pocket is really to small for anything, so i though hell i'll just route it out..
turns out the only power tools i can get my hands on are a skill saw, and a sander..
i'm thinking those are both bad options.
the plan is to sand it down, in a relic fashion, stain it so that the natural wood isn;t bland white, route the neck, find a bridge that will work, and swap the bridge pup for a humbucker.
so obviously i'll need a new pick guard as well, since i'm not about to go and attempt to cut through metal with the tools i have on hand.
i'll post pics as it progresses.
also any thoughs on how to modify the neck pocket would be nice.
