...united colors of Fender!!!

Post by Pacafeliz »

well yesterday my wifey and baby left me home alone a while, so i could "unravel" after the whole thing we've gone thru... man, our daughter is ONE month old today! time flies...
so i got to crank some o' my amps and howl away... felt weird. i've only been quietly noodling around over the last months, mainly on my beloved #1 ('83 black squier strat) and/or the CIJ jazzmaster.
...so... time to take them all outta their cases and see what they've got! i jammed around around 10-15 mins on each, writing down the things i love and/or hate about it. i realized (and i'd NEVER thought I'd say that!!! but...) i think i have too many guitars right now. and i mean, guitars i don't really like and/or play. some are just cool to look at, others ir can really FEEL.

oh well, having them all out on the couch i noticied the variety of colors and said oh man that's just GOTTA be a pic. so for your amusement... here's my united colors of fender:

fianlly, let's see their "faces"... that's the fender/squier family (missing in the pic is my red '89 Made In Usa Squier Strat... but she's currently in Costa Rica)

I love your original Telecaster Deluxe so much. That fretboard is a thing of beauty. How much did it cost you?

yes she's so hot... man i only wish i could revive that neck humbucker. some day it just died on me. i've already checked the wiring and all is ok. it reads around 10 with the multimeter, sometimes. i guess it's just a false contact somewhere. well someday.

it cost me around $600 or so if i recall correctly. :D it's got the WORST refin ever, but i like it. needs new frets, and a new nut. and some talent, for me, too...

Wow. Monster Deal.

One day that thing could be worth a new car if you ever feel like selling it.
