Painting? Routing? Set-up tips? Or just straight-up making a guitar from scratch? Post here, and post pics!

It's more of a simplified Jaguar no?

Surely the jazzy aspect of a jazzmaster is mainly the pickups?

You might have better luck. Phone them. They're alright on the phone. They WILL ignore your emails.

Factor in £30 customs. You absolutely will get fucked - they refuse to mark packages as anything other than exported guitar parts.

I'm not really calling it a jazzmaster anyway. I named the file with jazzmaster in the name because I started with a jazzmaster at the offest dressing room. I'd agree with the opinion that the pickups are a huge factor in what makes a jazzy sound like a jazzy.

It's a sort of 'indefinite hiatus' project. But I want to get an idea of how would be best to go about it if I were to do it. The rob og custom is top priority in terms of spending money on guitars, but this will hopefully happen sometime soon after that, and be finished this time next year. Definitely not going to rush through it, my bank balance would have none of it.

As we all know, project guitars mount in cost.

My DuoSonic thing has cost ~ £40 in cans of lacquer from Halfords alone!

The neck that Hurb has and I had on my jazzy HH is an allparts bound strat neck, if you want you could just dig out the dots and fill them in with wood filler thats stained to match or just use a sharpie over the dots.

I got mine on ebay from guitarpartsresource and allparts has it too, but double the price.

Arsecake is coming here, you could always have it shipped to me, then beg arsecake to bring it back home with him, then post it to you?
