Why hello there. Time for my first demo methinks

Youtube must have really upped their compression recently, the close mic audio is proper squished.

GET A JOB!!!
I just left my job and I'm trying to save as much as I can for uni but I couldn't resist it for £15.
I had to fix one of the pots on my jazzmaster and when I went out to buy strings they had this sitting there. Since the shop is closing down they didn't have any strings I wanted, it's half empty in there.
I uploaded a wmv, I have no idea what compression the video used but the audio used VBR at the highest quality I could set it to. I always normalise audio so it was as loud as it could be without clipping, which may have been why youtube squished it so much. I might try lowering the sound level and reupping it.
Edit: I'm uploading to google video to see how that is...
Re: the job situation, I'm out of a job myself and £15 is a pretty awesome deal. The battery connector thing is mostly likely an easy fix and will give it back some resale value if you ever get rid of it. Will probably cost you less than £2 for a decent new battery clip and a bit of wire.
Enough people here upload videos fairly regularly and I'm sure they'll give you some 'make the most of youtube compression' hints shortly.

Fuck. £100 - £200? It's a nice overdrive but I could buy like 5 nice overdrives for that much. I'll hang on to it though, shortscale dealz first if I sell it.
Also I didn't even check the battery compartment because it was all taped up. The battery connector is fine, it's just the clip that holds the battery cover in place, definately got a deal on this.

<£100 is the going rate I've seen in the last year. When in Rainbows came out it popped up to around £100 but certainly nothing like the early eBay prices.
Sweet score although a shame about the brick wall compression, and nice to wrap things up with the Pedaloid Android.
I'm surprised the J.Greenwood armbrace hasn't caught on as an Radioheadabie accessory as much as his Shredmaster, Telecaster Plus and haircut, since it's just a stiffly trim'n'fit armsock that actually works.

they weren't all that cheap when they first came out. if i remember correctly they were certainly upwards of £50 and that was over 10 years ago.
