HOLY MOTHERFUCK

I finally gave a test drive to a Mustang bass today. It was PURE SEXORZ.

I've been a Precision bass player for 17 years, and I'm more of a bassist than a guitarist. I absolutely adore the sound of the P bass, and despite the fact that they all sound the same, it's the most versatile bass sound around. But the thick neck always felt like I had to fight it a little bit in order to play it.

But the Mustang bass was sooooo smooth and easy to play with it's tiny neck... I don't imagine my left hand ever getting sore, even after hours of use. And the sound... thick and rich like a good P bass, with a bit more lower mids (a good thing, in my books!)

Now I REALLY FUCKING WANT ONE.

Now the hard part... white or Fiesta? Either way I go, I'm slapping a black pickguard on it.
