That's cheap, especially for one that's in such good condition! I usually see them go for >$2200 on fleabay. Great score!
I love how some comp blues get the purple burst effect as they age. It also looks like they used a darker shade of LPB back then than what we see on the reissues. Where did you find this beauty?

I think I have seen a purple burst before. Does it have to do with fading?

it's apparently overspraying of clear-coat at the edges.
