HOLEE SHITz.

That looks like a howitzwer. I think it needs even moar metal bits on it. I have to admit, it frightens me like a big, tough stripper might.

Nice.

I've always, always wanted to stick a Floyd Rose in a Jagmaster.I think that shape would be fucking awesome if it was hot rodded properly. I get on too well with the vintage vibrato that's already on it though. It might be worth picking up another Chinese one to fuck about with. I'd like to have a proper floyd rose guitar, because I love the action of those things.

Heres the next..
Same model but more stock excluding the set of Lace Sensors. This is definitely more 'classy' and vintage looking, the colour is a slightly pearlescent white.
It also has the original tremelo for these models, i think it is identical to the Fender Performer trem. Not quite as diverse as the Floyd or Kahler but still decent.
The guitar sounds excellent, through a Multi FX i could'nt help but wander down Gilmour Road. Brilliant clean sounds.
The neck again, is one of the most comfy i've tried.
Really glad i bought these..

Note the black headstock, the back of the neck is the same.

Not sure how old them Lace pups are but they are ageing nicely

Lol, aye.

The knobs are amazing. I hope the other hath them.
My 80s Tele came with them too, not sure where one of em has got to, though..

That 2nd Strat has the same bridge, too.. but chromey, not black. Guess it's the same series going from the headstock, the "Contemporary" line.

Did'nt know you had a 'Contemporary' Tele Doog? Is the neck/headstock black on yours?
Just reminded me.. these mosels have the Micro-tilt feature as well on the neck pocket, but with a 4 screw plate.

Yup, got it for the Pixies cover band I used to be in.

Yeah, it's got a Microtilt and a black-neck-n-headstock:

Refinned cheaply from burgundy mist metallica to off-white. It's pretty beat up now, dude had it done in a week, so definately didn't cure properly.

I love all the guitars in this thread. There's something really classy about them. They have all the hpt roded attachments, but they aren't all shit and metal looking.

Thanks Paul. I'm pleased someone shares my vision. Fair does, i love the Squier Stagemaster but it has that aura about it, ya know.. Cheapo "i could'nt afford an Ibanez Jem so i got this.." circa 1994 look about it . So i wanted to get a couple of guitars with shredfest capabilities but staying with more classy looks. And like i said, the main option beforehand was rodding a Jag but it would've have been a massive headache.

yea, but that's a real amber switch tip; as in, it used to be white. so it's actually awesome then. and if you don't like it, it's easy enough to get a new white one, unlike les paul style 3way switches, which only come in gay ass amber.

They come in cream, because that's the colour of the plastic on a les paul by design. They're not artificially aged like amber switch tips. When Gibson age a switchtip you'll know it, it looks like a used cotton bud on the custom historics while the binding, switch washer, pickup rings and pickguard remain the familiar cream colour.
