this is the neck that i got from a bass i bought from cowbell for my g.f. im having the body painted and my newest shop bitch had to prove himself by level sanding and buffing out the neck from a squire jazz bass vintage modified.
i set it up with flat wounds.
to my suprise the squire neck is about 3 mms thicker than the mim fender neck and the width at the heal is almost a full mm wider.
anywho, i think it looks HAWT!
well, im not too certain yet.
they have it in the body shop as we speak, im thinking either oly white, or some sort of metallic blue color.
perhaps even that green color i painted that gun f-hole archtop i made a while back.

your serious?
the wood is nice n all but i just don't feel like stripping the body, and laqcer drop filling proved.... less than i had hoped.
I love the way that tobacco burst looks with the maple neck. I am serious. Wanna trade?
oooohohhhhh,
phew, i thougt you were crazy and wanted the entire sqiure back.
i can never sell that burst body, i bought it in 99 with the money i made from being a camp counselor at a christian camp and its got too much mojo, it might hurt or even kill a noob if they tried to play it.
but at anyrate, i can't. if i could i would be all over that, i just did it to see how it all felt, here before too long it will go back to the way it was.
