Your builds are looking really neat and tidy lately Mike; you're getting dead good at this. I also like that you've responded to customer surveys and gone for the neatly snapped edges look.

Indeed, I am indebted to DuoSonicBoy for his very clever Score-And-Snap technique.

In other news, Ge transistors are great. I've found that bowoodelectronics sells them for £0.80 which is the cheapest I've found them, Banzai sell them for £1.16 plus you have shipping and the waiting time.

I'm going to grab about 6 more I think to have in stock. AC128s are fab.

I bought them pre matched. I guess I'll have to figure out how to do it if I buy an unmatched batch. Any links or tips you can give me?

You mean the coin for the Tonebender? I looked through the thread and I thought we agreed on £45?

Looking forward to you getting it, it sounds pretty good to my ears.

I hope to mail it on Monday at the latest, Saturday early post if I can manage it. Same for your Muff, stewart.

I'm hoping it's just that it needs a static protection diode and perhaps another couple of diodes across the power rails. I will endeavour to try everything I can to fix it. I'll also give you brand new BS170 FETs in all positions. If I can't get it completely fixed I'll just make you a completely new board for it.

Those two are the original articles I guess. The first a simplified version of the second. The info is at the bottom of the page.

Ebay Green Big Muff and JD's fuzz factory. I'm waiting on transistor sockets.

I painted finboy's fuzz factory box today.

I also have no friends.

This is pretty much all I do these days.

It's nice when people want something and I can help them out though - good times.

Right. So busy times at Livesley manor, just keeping track of what I have in progress and to come.

In Progress
1. Stewart's Green Big Muff - board built and tested, case drilled and finished, assembly on Friday. Green LED - mustang knobs
2. Prog's Tonebender - board built and tested, case drilled and finished, assembly on Friday. Lowpower LED as battery powered mostly. - silver knobs
3. Finboy's Fuzz Factory - board built and tested, case drilled and curing, Assembly next week.
4. JD's Fuzz Factory - board built, not tested. Case drilled (going to be bare metal). Assembly next week.

Stuff ordered:
5. Benecol's FuzzFace with Fuller mods - parts ordered. Going to be in a BB case with battery power a must, jacks on the top, portrait style, pink LED if it's not just white. Silver. Silver and Black knobs.

6. Ebay Big Muff - takes lowest priority obviously. Board built, not tested.
