Me too. Fuzz Faces are fun. Updated with your LED preferences.

In Progress
1. Stewart's Green Big Muff - board built and tested, case drilled and finished, assembly on Friday. Green LED - mustang knobs
2. Prog's Tonebender - board built and tested, case drilled and finished, assembly on Friday. Lowpower LED as battery powered mostly. - silver knobs
3. Finboy's Fuzz Factory - board built and tested, case drilled and curing, Assembly next week.
4. JD's Fuzz Factory - board built, not tested. Case drilled (going to be bare metal). Assembly next week.

Stuff ordered:
5. Benecol's FuzzFace with Fuller mods - parts ordered. Going to be in a BB case with battery power a must, jacks on the top, portrait style, pink LED if it's not just white, Green if the LED looks crap. Silver. Silver and Black knobs.

6. Ebay Big Muff - takes lowest priority obviously. Board built, not tested.

oh i just thought of something- i take it the DC in on the muff be a standard 9v boss type? the one on NYC muffs is really annoying.

Of course mate, I always use Lumberg 2.1mm centre negative boss style DC jacks. They're high quality.

jolly good. the jack i rigged up to power the NYC is about an inch long and prevents me putting another pedal on my board. bloody EHX and their silly supply inputs....

They appear to have realised that idosyncratic behaviour only gains you a certain level of charm, the newer stuff is all Boss Style and smaller cases, although they dropped a clanger in making the Nano Clone and Nano Muff Overdrive positive ground, and hence un daisy chainable with regular negative ground pedals. Clever EHX.

My Green Big Muff clone is identical electronically, but 1/4 the size of an original.

If I used PCBs I could fit it in a Hammond B case, but I use stripboard, so BB is as small as I can go with a circuit this complicated.

i'm sure that'll be fine. the annoying thing about the EHX ones is that because they're re-issues they've emulated the original casing- but it's half empty! it's just a waste of space for the sake of aesthetics. not that i'm against that in principle, but my current thirst for pedalboard expansion must be slaked. mind you, anything i add onto it will no doubt be taken off again in a month, but it's nice to have a play about now and again.

I've been listening to Scroobius Pip and Soldering my arms off people.

I love you too much, methinks. Prog's tonebender is done. Stewart's big muff is done.

I wired it so you can use a regular adaptor with a boss centre negative plug to power this, it has to be seperate from your other pedals though (no daisy chaining), but at least it's a common power supply. I'm posting it with battery included.
