bumguitarist has the graphtech saddles on his telecaster. they fucking kick ass. i have NEVER seen him break a string on it yet.

I modify my saddles so there is a spike at 2.001Khz. I find that sounds much more musical.

2 Khz? The average upper limit of human hearing? Also a frequncy that the majority of adults can't hear?

2KHz is right above 1k mids shit. it can be boosted for more aggressive guitar rock tonez.

You're right. It was the k in front of the hz that threw me. I've not done any studio work in about two years, so I've forgotten all this shit. You know, numbers an' that.

Has anyone played those strange guitars available in music stores that are made out of a synthetic material? I don't seem to remember the name. They come in strange colors and sound pretty bad.

Switch guitars they are/were called. The site is down and I believe they've stopped making them. And yes, they did look horrible.
