Sooo Glad you got it. I remember Augs not saying, very simply, "Here is your damn Malikaster". That finish is the best I have ever been involved with and probably will be forever. I'm glad the paint came out that way.

You're welcome. I was happy to do it for you. I think it's a brilliant idea. I want one for myself.

I know this is an old thread but I'm new and I just wanted to say that this is stunning!! I think it's my new favourite body shape. I'd love to see some fresh pics of it.

It's post like this that make me really really really want to be able to say I've finished it. That's it, I'm determined to get this thing done by Sunday. Currently I have all the parts, they just need bringing together. Trust me, it's an absolutely beautiful guitar in person as well, and I can't wait to show it off to my fellow UK shortscalers at a meetup soon.

Don't be sad Sub.
The only way I can get this done is with input from my father, and he's been busy AS recently. He's been spending every free moment of his time training for a half marathon he completed yesterday (and he completed it in an admirable 1:31 too!). I do keep bringing it up but he just doesn't have the time to commit, and it's quite sad really because it's going to take less than a hour to do, I just need to drill some holes and screw some screws.
It will be done, and it will be good.

Haha, he's the man with the tools in his van. It's pretty gay I know. When I get some time of my own I'll deal with it.
