Do you think a guitar like this is worth $250(used)?

Talk about all other types of guitars. Jazzmasters and basses go here!

I didn't play it yet.The tech at the store is gonna give it a setup today or tomorrow(needs a trussrod ajustment and some new strings) then I can try it out.

You could discretely flip it on eBay for $450 or so; I think it's worth it. Give it a good play first, though.

Thanks man!I buyed it!Looks nice now that it has been cleaned up and got a new set of strings.$250 with a gigbag and a full setup.2 of the guys who work at the shop said they want to buy it if I change my mind.I haven't plugged it in yet.Have to watch Project Runway with my girlfriend. It's our 6 year Anniversery! Sorry for the poor quality pictures(black guitars are so hard to photograph inside.

I love it. I've wanted a Ric copy for a very long time.

I bet if you turn that truss rod cover over it says "Series 10" - same shape as the one on my Ric copy. It looks very nice - how does it play?

Thanks guys.We flipped the TRC but it is blank on the other side too.By the way,do you think this guitar would fit in a 335 hardshell case?

Hi,
I have one like that but mine's red like the pic at the top of the thread, plus mine's looking a little worse for wear. I'm guessing these were made here in korea in 2003, 2004.

The black looks really nice. Someone must've been looking after that well (or not playing it all all) for a couple of years.

I played one of the Korean copies last year. I almost bought it, but it never quite felt special enough.

Thanks for the posts.Well,it isn't a real Rick but it sounds pretty close.I just wanted a cheap backup guitar.Rick copies have a certain mystique in the USA because they are so hard to find. Does anyone know what hardshell case would fit this guitar? This is actually a fullscale guitar(25.5" scale)so I don't think a Rick case will work.Someone told me to try a 335 case.Duosonic What do you guys that have a Rick Copy use for yours?

Mine's a 24" scale - just use one of those generic square hardshells from MF.

You mean like the ones for strats or teles? Those are the only square shaped MF cases I see and I don't think those would be wide enough.

Just a softbag. I don't use that guitar for anything serious.
