You get what you pay for sean.
I'd look at older undesirable yet reputable brands. Like samick, aria, etc. They made semi's/archtops and were good quality.

Yeah but it probably wont intonate properly and will sound gash. Go for it if you want, Mikes Flying V was very cheap yet a decent guitar (for the money).

The neck reminds me of the short little plywood necks on Jolanas and other Soviet Czech guitars. Tuners look wank, too.

Those First Act semi-acoustics are good if you want something quite cheap, but for £55 you just know how this story is going to end.

Looks awful.
Big jazzers are good, and I'd imagine are easy to make look good. To make one look that shit, you'd need to a fair bright fella, fer I doubt it's easy.
