i wonder why they didn't adjust the bridge pickup to be closer to the bridge.

maybe they were worried about aesthetics - maybe it just sounds better a bit further forward.

too close to the bridge = thin, bright, lower outout. an inch will make a big difference. strange it's not angled though.

Marooned out like that it would be devoid of any snap or bounce. I hate the position of that pickup.
