If you like the sparkle and you like the way danos play I'd say go for it. I'm not sure how good that price is but it deoesn't sound that bad.

I'm a fan of solid 12 strings but that finish is just a bit too Lawrence Welk for me.

$300-$400 is about what they go for on ebay so that sounds about right. Hey, it's a Dano and you get 6 extra strings. How can you go wrong? 8)

Looks like I may be able to get both the blue sparkle and teh purple sparkle(both with tweed soft cases) for $550.00.I'm seriously considering this.I'll talk to the guy tomorrow.....I see one going for $399 on ebay and another with a BIN of $499.
550 sounds like a deal I can't refuse.

That's funny, I was about to trade for a purple one last night through Craigslist. I got all the way to the dude's house and he changed his mind and decided he wanted cash. Too bad, it sounded great and the finish looks cool in person.

He was asking $325, just for the sake of comparison.

Picked up the danos today. Both for $550.The blue one came with a dano padded gig bag called "amp in bag".It has a small battery powered dano amp(or you can plug in a power pack). The blue one has a tiny chip in the PG and some small rash on the HS.The purple one I'd rate (conditionwise) a 9.5 out of 10.There isn't a mark on it but it is missing the high E string. They both play great.
Not sure what years they are,I'll have to research that.
The purple one will be sold.
