Dis spite james awesome deal on a mustang, I still think this is a pretty good deal for a mustang(even if it is a copy). and you could mod it how you like with very little guilt.
do it shortscale.

I dunno...its a copy going for $400 usd, you could almost find a 65 RI for $500 used on ebay me's think. I dunno this is america, I have no idea how rare/special mustangs are in the uk.

The Mustang 65RI is Â£499 here ($1,000) online - around Â£600 in shops!

Second hand ones will go for ~Â£400/$800

Hell, second hand '69 RI's go for Â£350/$700

If I were one of you guys from the UK, when I came to america, I'd buy Fender guitars and take them back with me to sell on ebay...could probably pay for the vacation/holiday.

It's very true. I looked into prices in Canada but Mustangs (while cheaper than the UK) aren't as cheap as they are in the US. You better believe if I make it to the States next year I'll be coming home with a Fender.

Unfortunately '65 Mustangs aren't available until the 8th September, the day Joanna flies back.

you wouldn't have to get a 65 mustang. just any guitar that you could sell here for a profit. then use the money you make to buy a 65. bit of a hassle, but it could work!
