I put a lot of effort, time and money into the whole project and I'm kinda pissed it all went to waste. I really don't need your bullshit comments.

You'll do whatever you see fit - that much is obvious.

However if you make a buck off Robert's bro-deal then that's not the shortscale way. It is of course your prerogative. I just don't work that way. When I bought a pedal from Mickie and sold it to James after it didn't get on with my amplifier, I sold it to him for exactly what I paid for it, event though twice that would have still been cheap for that pedal in England - it's called integrity.

You can get all upset about me having a pop all you want, but Robert is a friend, and if you do all this out in the open on a public forum you have to expect to get called on it. At least put your hands up and accept it.

Did you spend any money on that pedal? You bought something you didn't like and passed it around. I'm selling something I bought that I worked and spent money on.

I don't think you can claim to have increased the value of the body.

I'm not claiming that. I have no clue what it will sell for. I don't really expect it to get too high.

another example of how shit SHOULD work around here.
alfredo sent me the malikcaster from california and i sent the malikcaster to england.
we did a fund drive to collect funds to get the thing over seas. it went so well that i had money left over and i paypal-ed it back to alfredo for the california shipping without him even asking for it.

the collective amount of getting this thing from california to england was 0 dollars, instead of me having a bunch of money in my pants.

You could at least have put it in the classifieds before going to ebay.

Should I factor all the money I spent on paint, clear, and customs before I put it in the classified? I am not sure what the fuzz is all about? I'd do a straight trade for a body if anybody wanted one, but I just don't think I can handle a project right now.

Nice of you to late drop by my thread BTW. Funny how most of the familiar faces choose to stay away from the thread, yet now that the body is up for grabs on ebay some of those faces are starting to come by.... Most of the 5 pages on the thread is just me rambling on about the project.

I don't think the body will sell for much; however, I dont know what to ask for and that's why it went straight to ebay. You guys all remember the bullshit with the J. Mascis Jazzmaster, right? I asked what I thought was fair ($630, I think for like a week old Jazzmaster) and almost inmediately the bullshit started.

I don't think any of us are likely to forget that, and you shouldn't count on it either. Do what you want, but don't be surprised when you're called out on it and people here don't do business with you because you're a bit dodgy.

You might disagree, but I think you are a bit dodgy, and I certainly wouldn't involve myself in any business with you. I imagine others on here feel much the same way.

Did you seriously just try to call someone out for not having posted in your thread until now?

Clearly all of the "familiar faces" were avoiding this thread like the plague, there was no chance that they might have simply not had anything to say, or thought that "Nice" didn't seem like much to add to the thread, was there?

Doesnt bother me wheter the "community" comes by or not to support my projects, it bothers me when they come out to demand stuff. If it did I would have stop posting a while ago.

BacchusPaul, fair enough if you think I am dodgy. You don't need to to biz with me. I do have good ebay feedback, whatchu got?
