I know, right? The switch in my SS went bad after less then a year and started making a horrible crackle when engaged (if it even worked at all). When I put in a new switch I realized the crackle was covering up a huge true-bypass pop. I never could get rid of it - no amount of pull-down resistor or buffer could cure that racket.

Did you try an input grounding wiring scheme on a 3PDT?

The above should have worked.

or this:

(halfway down the page - a TB loop scheme, works good with FX)

for some reason, out of all the effects companies out there, i seem to fall straight to danelectro. i don't know why, but any danelectro pedal i have tried or owned has always managed to get something positive out of me.

i love my reel echo so much, as it really does have that nice lo-fi sound to it. i still love my pb&j delay pedal and in many ways regret selling it at doogfest, it really is a great little delay pedal. the chicken salad pisses all over my boss rt-20, the uni-vibe on the rt-20 isn't worth messing with. switch on the chicken salad, you sound like breathe or any have a cigar.

though for my dirt sounds, i must say that mike has defiantly been my choice ever since i got the box of rock.

I used to enjoy Dano, but I played around with my friend's Daddy-O and it was probly the worst pedal ever... it barely did anything at all, I mean, it's controls were basically worthless. Plus, the overdrive wasn't crunchy enough.
I love the way Moolon's look, I'd love to have one to try out, though, I've never seen one in person.

Boss and Danos are safe pedals, though, they're like Honda, not the best but they shouldn't fuck up on you.

I'm not as versed in pedals as I should be, though :/

ehx made the deluxe memory man, and the deluxe electric mistress, therefore, they're my favorite pedal manufacturer. Diamond makes some awesome stuff, as well as fulltone, but do not want/cannot afford either.

I like effector 13(devi ever now innit?).

Im thinking about picking up a d+ as a booster(would you reccomend any other booster, besides the salt boost, cannot afford salt boost after shipping.)

Im buying a quality guitar(gretsch, AV JAZZY, baja(or 52) tele, etc)

Anyway, I LOVE EHX.

For Indy companies I have to say I admire 4MS -- it's really nerdy stuff and going into the territory of pedals for pedal's sake rahter than as enhancing guitar, but they make some unusual stuff. On their vids, I like how the guy launches with, "This is the _____" and then crazy stuff starts happening.

For big companies I like EHX too. They're still trying out new ideas, some of their originals are classix, and they understand the need for a good website.

i have always liked boss. EHX is awesome.

i dont like stuff in plain vanilla hamond bricks, so EHX wins my vote there, and i could build an entire EHX pedalboard and be completely content.

in fact, im going to do just that.

no, it's just strange that you don't want one in your pedalboard.

also, i just checked out the colorsound. seems like a really warm sounding wah. i dig it. im not one for wahs though.

im gonna do some hunting to try and find a vintage one. seems like that would be a really easy build.

those should come with either green or blue leds. red is boring.

what, the superfuzz? it uses a red led cuz, um, i dunno. its standard?

we are really trying to disconnect from the boutique mantra. our aim is to become a large legit company that makes all sorts of music electronics. pedals are a jumping off point.

vintage ones seem to go a little cheaper than the reissues. i imagine the tough thing to find would be the right induction coil. also, these things are famous for having a wider sweep than normal wah pedals. you'd have to keep that in mind when building one.
it'd be cool if you guys did it. and if they were priced right, i bet you'd sell lots of 'em.

I like the idea of BOSS - too expensive for me, though.

My favorite thing about them is that they name their pedals based on function, only occasionally adding prefixes like "super". It's actually become a huge pet peeve of mine that every damn manufacturer has to have some cutesy clever name for their product. It makes them seem like toys rather then real equipment.

+1
Im just not a fan of most boss pedals, but the concept of knowing what it does before you try it is epic.
