It's amazing for Brit prices, that's half what they are new here. They're $700 new in teh States so it would have to be v good condition to be over $450

In England you don't get online prices in guitar shops. I've played a couple of these in London (but never a blue one) and I ordered online for basically £500. In London they wanted at least £600.

Nice one Mike - that's lovely. I like to think i paid for the upper horn (my favourite part of a guitar, fact fans).

The '65 RI comes in Dakota Red, Olympic White, and Daphne Blue. As far as I know, they're not made in any other colours, even in Japan. These three colours were all that were available on the Mustang when Fender introduced the model back in the day, though they only refered to these colours as red, blue and white.

There are CAR jap mustangs, but as far as I know these are only '69 RI's.

Mike, I can't believe how good that demo sounds! Makes me want to get a Tiny Terror and another mustang!

The pickups sound fucking ace. I was worried that they used the same shitty pickups as used in the '69 RI. I was very disappointed when I got the '69, the pickups were ass (but the rest of the guitar is top notch). I changed them to Lace Sensors in a fit of lunacy, but now I want to get some proper mustang pickups (maybe Antiquities or the new Fralins).

another guy from montreal told me he saw a CAR one at Steve's, but they don't have the 65 RI's anymore do they?

Good stuff, nice to see the V sticking its li'l head up therein the back, too.

Twin pickups in the out of phase setting bleed bearded Mid-western indie rocker pinky-dinks and Robroe juices. Lovin' it.

Yes, the pickups are win. I doubt I'll modify anything on this guitar, it just works as is.

Pretty Good?

That's close mic'd SM57 audio, not the Webcam shit you get on most demos. The sound quality on my demos is as high as possible on youtube.

Noob A makes error in praise. Noob B sees Noob A's mistake, and adjusts response accordingly.

Yeah it's just the Tiny Terror. it's a fine sounding amplifier.
