Nice guitar and I like the finish on the headstock but i think the pick guard goes with the overall look and kind of looks like something a kid would cut out of construction paper.

try and bevel out the top side of the pickguard so you can see the 3 ply all the way around it !!!
and loosen up that #2 screw. its gonna fuck it all up
