I just condensed this...

into this...

I'm fairly sure it's right and the unlabelled stuff is the same as in the original.

Does that look right to you (ie Mike)? The cut above R4 is not needed but it looks good to me other than that.

On the AC128, how do I know which is the collector? Is it the one with the tab?

What does the other side look like? how do they connect as a circuit? I has no ideas.

The horizontal strips are connected to each other unless there is the cut symbol (red square, white centre with a red dot in the cntre of that). the components bridge the gaps between the strips to connect them.

Actually, should I just go for that squarer layou you had mike?

With 5 pots it'll betight for space so having a long thin board could be a good or bad thing depending onhow the case is laid out.

Your layout is good, I've checked it. The Emitter is the one with the tab, and the base is the one that is at the point of the triangle if the emitter is one of the bottom corners, if you know what I mean.

Have a look at my build, I had to squish it. However, if the switch had been on one side I could have laid the board in the bottom edge of the case.

Looks like leccy tape to me.

Green wire should be gotten from Radio Shack. There are a multitude of colours available there.

Yeah it's just green electrical tape. It just stops any direct contact between the metal on the back of the pots and any metal on the circuit board. It's unlikely to happen but with the circuit near the pots I figured it'd be better to be safe and it does look quite cool. The green wire I think I got from Maplin. It's total coincidence that the wire and the tape was the same colour, it's the only type of each that I have.

It's solid core so it's not the best for guitars, but you could get stranded in green like that.

You can wire solid core for guitar no problem. There is nothing wrong with that.

I was under the impression it was best not to but I can't remember why. I suppose cloth covered wire is solid core though.
