Anyone heard of a peavy deuce?

Post by ultraviolence »

They were made in 1979

are they worth 250$ if one of the channels is broken?

it's a 120 wat amp, with 2x 12" speakers, it's got 4 6l6 tubes

so I guess it's a hybrid amp.

Anyone play this before?

Any good?

It sounds like every other late 70s/early 80s Peavey, except it's LOUD AS FUCK. $250 is a little steep for a broken amp, especially a Peavey.

well, chances are I am more than likely only gonna use the clean channel anyways, but he refuses to lower it anymore anyways.

Does it have a good sound?

check musicgoround.com, they are ALWAYS on there, anywhere from 150.00 to 250.00

with both channels functioning.

don't bother with broken amps, unless you know how to fix them. (past experience)

ahh, that's okay, I think i've decided that I'll get something from the crate V series, 245$ w/ free shipping to my house for a 50 wat all tube amp.
