I'm drilling your case tonight and I'll hopefully prime and paint it tomorrow morning and evening respectively. I should be able to apply the decals on Friday and lacquer it then.

Hopefully I'll have some pictures for you Friday. Your decals are for marking the jacks "input", "output", "send" and "return"

Ah ok - no worries. If it's just that - to be honest I might just like a plain case
Would that be ok?

That's fine. Every other fucker has been wetting their pants over these things. Are you sure you wouldn't even want them on the sides of the case?

It's no skin off my nose if you don't want them at all.

OK, I'll leave the input and output unmarked. They're obviously the right and left sides respectively.

I'm so crazy busy at the moment. It's good, don't get me wrong, but it's just a constant flow of stuff to do!

I'm looking forward to the Small Clone rehouse, it's something brand new.

They look like this. A Fuzzface I made for Benecol and a Woolly Mammoth that Lamp bought. Just laser jet labels and some Photoshop help from Joanna.

Not perfect by any means, but the best that little old me can do.

I've sent the money, but it didn't say anything about fees like it has done in the past, but I put it under personal payment or whatever that option is so maybe they don't charge for that? Hmm.

They look neat. I'd be worried the laquer would melt the decal- I did something with a fake hagstrom logo a while back that went very wrong. Did you use nitro laquer or anything weird?

Also, and I know you've been asked before, where do you get your knobs?

I leave the decal for about 5 mins before lacquering, and I mist the lacquer on afterwards. You can see that they sort of melt into the finish a bit but they're still visible, still - as good as you can get without silkscreening I think. I only use Halfords Clear Lacquer spray, I'm not Aug FFS.

I get my knobs from Banzai Effects, the metal centred ones I use are BS Small (roffle), I used to use Mustang style Eagle 19mm's but they stopped making them!

http://www.banzaieffects.com/Knobs-c-322.html

They do LOTS of types.

Yeah I like those ones. They're easy to see onstage, like those mxr knobs too. There's some extra cool metal skirted knobs around for cheap, but you wouldn't have a clue where they're pointing from a few feet away.

Make people real uncomfortable...but maybe with backwards tone control. and when you step on it to turn it off it just gets louder.
