Mickie's COT 50 is done. I masked off the parts and touched up the paint job after this so those scratches on teh front from me dropping the pliers when doing the 3PDT up aren't there any more.
NickD's Saltbooster is done. Choose what knob you like the best Nick. The LED is green
Lamp's True Bypass Loop is done
I also made Viva's Small clone true-bypass-able and soldered on new wires in place of all the original stuff.

Mike, are you interested in repairing 3-4 pedals I have... ?
x2 need replacement foot switches and the other battery clip re-solder and a general clean inside. (EDIT: & a 18v to 9v conversion if poss ?)
there may be one other ... they're all basically been made redundant for a while now.... which is a shame, through my own pure laziness...
somethin you'd be interested in ?
... some awesome pedals !! ... how about re-producing a micro pog for me
cheers

MicroPog is a no go. It uses technology I don't have access to.
As for the other pedals, firstly I'd need to know what they were, footswitch replacement and tidy up and the battery clip is all easy enough stuff to do if they use standard 3DPT switches and not FET switching like Boss pedals.
I wouldn't know about 18V to 9V conversion I'm afraid. Have you looked into those Diago converters?

o.k... footswitches broken on Vox Distortion Booster & home made Big Muff... they're both intermittent. I bought a jim dunlop switch for £12 from Denmark St and it turned out to be the wrong one (still have it !!!) It's an 'SPDT' with 3 prongs, and the ones from each of these pedals require a 6 prong switch if I remember correctly. Never looked any further into it since then...Mike wrote: As for the other pedals, firstly I'd need to know what they were, footswitch replacement and tidy up and the battery clip is all easy enough stuff to do if they use standard 3DPT switches and not FET switching like Boss pedals.

The battery clip is for a Ibanez Flanger FL-301.... I have a new spare clip which I could send with it. This is the 18v pedal and because I wanted to hook it up to my 9v power bank and with the other little prob I gave up and bought a new Ibanez FL9 ... however they aren't meant to be as good. Think the older ones like the fl301 were made by maxon. So yeah, I just wondered if it was possible.... I did buy x2 battery clip convertors to see if it'd work but was unsuccessful again... one battery & one linked to the power bank was the best I could achieve. I have heard of the diago convertors but never properly investigated... could that work maybe ? either way no big deal...
cheers

1. I think the Diago is your way forwards for your 18 V pedal. I'm confused though, why does that pedal have a battery clip you want me to fix if it doesn't run on 9V?
2. I can replace the switches on both your Vox and Big Muff pedals with 3DPTs and make them true bypass if they aren't already. It would be £10 per pedal including the switch for me to do this, you would have to pay shipping to and from me though.

Nice one that all sounds great... fairly basic work but I doubt I'll ever sit down and work on them... I'd rather be playing my guitar.Mike wrote:1. 18v pedal runs on x2 9V batteries... one of which is broken...
I'll drop you a pm when I got some spare cash and ready to post out.
thanks
