My 50s classic vibe tele ... pics inside

Post by othomas2 »

Received yesterday... extremely pleased with how it plays/ looks... it really has lived up to all the hype and good reviews.

The grain is a little more subtle than I imagined but that doesn't particularly bother me any way. There is also a one flame stripe near the headstock on the back of the neck which from the playing angle is quite a defined dark line... almost like its wearing jewelery around its neck ... perhaps I should call it MR T... pics don't show it too well...

Apart from strap locks I haven't touched the guitar in any other way... plays well straight out of the box. Going to add a set Dean Markley 10s and take it from there... I'm assuming they'd come with 9s as stock ?? Does anyone know ?

Anyways, enough chatter here's a few pics...

.042? Thats fucking thin.

I think this is going to be my next new guitar.
Well what I mean is I'll save money aiming to buy this then buy something completely different since that's how it always works out.

It looks awesome anyhow.

I could never have left that strap in front of the guitar like that. It actually upsets me to look at it.

Nice wallpaper.

The neck looks a bit too tinted for my taste. But nice none the less.
