They vaccum seal it!
I hate the way they look, though the carrying handle must be convenient.
If you think of god as a pair of pants, a spiritualist thinks he needs pants, in fact he wants pants but none of the conventional types of pants seem to fit just right, so he makes his own pants and is happy that his knees are no longer cold.-fibus

I don't hate the way parkers look, and the only one I've played was a goofy Tele copy one that I didn't quite hate...

The appointments on most of them don't appeal to me, but the construction seems quite novel.

I'd love to give one a go sometime. I hate trying guitars in guitar shops, you never really feel like you're finding out much about it. Someone should buy one and bring it to Doogfest next year.

carbon fiber is VERY tough, but if you give it a good smashing, it'll snap
HOWEVER, i dont think teh kurdtz or hendrix could have snapped it at the end of a show

I like 'em a lot - except the upper horn always nails me right in the sternum. I've always though they sounded pretty good.

I do want a Parker, specifically the southern nitefly (the tele one) but the piezo pickups are just employed to produce pointless acoustic sonds, not more useful (for me) midi. The guitars themselves don't bother me that much, but the people who usually play them are choads, they're built by fucking clowns (watch any of the factory tour vids on youtube) and there's actually a model called the 'mojo'. And finally there's a limited edition of 50 covered in real snakeskin, which is just a bit grim.

From the title of this thread I was expecting it to be about how you were so baked that you bought a parker guitar... haha!

I hate teh way that they look but love how lightweight they are. I've never played one plugged in so I don't know how they sound. But if they could make a more traditional looking guitar I would be all over it!
