one's a digital reverb unit and the other's a digitech quad multiFX thing. they used to be quite handy for a band i was in years ago where there were lots of sequenced synths and stuff controlled by an MPC2000, i'd set the FX units to change patches at certain points in the song to save faffing about. i had a pretty complicated setup, and it made things a bit easier.
