I had a 100w tube carvin head and 4x12 peavey cabinet when I was 18 and not in a band, I had that shit until I was in a band @25 then started the serious amp quest @28-???
Don't worry about having a nice amp and no band, it may come in handy later, its also an investment since Orange shit doesn't generally lose value like Marshall/fender/etc.

I was joking wit the vero layout question, but one of my planned pedal designs is a basic synth type box. Nothing with pitchshifting and I'm not sure how feasible the whole project is. I havent even began looking into it let alone started considering the scale. I'd be aiming for a BB box at the most and reasonable flexability.
My plan now is to finish the pedals I'm building, breadboard the Harmonic Percolator circuit (the version I made anyway) and try some mods. Build a new percolator if I like what I can do to it and then start looking in more detail at how things work and pieceing together design ideas. It's seems somewhat far fetched seeing as my Llama clone isn't even working yet, but I suppose you don't get anywhere by having small ideas.
I swear to bejebus that there was one of them micro synths on ebay second hand like a few months ago that I was gonna bid on but it went for to much. I have no idea how it was on ebay so long before it was actually released.
