If you think of god as a pair of pants, a spiritualist thinks he needs pants, in fact he wants pants but none of the conventional types of pants seem to fit just right, so he makes his own pants and is happy that his knees are no longer cold.-fibus
Wikipedia wrote:Arion was a legendary kitharode in ancient Greece, a Dionysiac poet credited with inventing the dithyramb. The islanders of Lesbos claimed him as their native son, but Arion found a patron in Periander, tyrant of Corinth. Although notable for his musical inventions, Arion is chiefly remembered for the fantastic myth of his kidnapping by pirates and miraculous rescue by dolphins, a folktale motif.
I have an arion flanger, it's one of the old MIJ ones. the problem with these pedals is the casing is made out of plastic and eventually the battery cover, or more drastically, the pedal hinge breaks (which has happened to mine). It would be cool to figure out a way to fit a true bypass switch in there.
I want to put it in a new box, that part looks easy, just desolder jacks, switch, pots and replace them. Just gotta find the true bypass method to this thing.
How ya gonna do it? I would either follow the lines to and from the jacks, or poke around with an audio probe.

True Bypassing just means lock the switch in the on position (try jumping it's connections or removing it) and then take teh I/O of the board to a switch instead of the jacks.
