neck : KOA
Top : SOlid spruce.
back and sides :hpl figured maple and mohogany
headstock veener : more figured maple
fretboard : some species of rosewood, not sure which.
the bridge : Rosewood( unknown species)
pegs are ebony with inlays.
Electronics : not sure but they are NICE!
thats just general stuff.
here is a lil review over it.
I got it in bought 3 days ago, the guy said he wanted the action lowered, i pulled it out of the case and i was impressed to see that it was a decent looking guitar, and it sounded really really good.
the action was stock and it was set at 8mms at the 12th fret(keep in mind the neck is straight and there is no bow behind the bridge, as well as the bridge is still glued properly and the bridge is stock)
i took some shots to show this.

its an easy fix, i'll just sand down the graphtech looking bridge..... err no wait, its plastic, and it melts rather easily.....
now while im doing this i'm inspecting the whole thing, bracing style, inlayz, stuff like that.
then i find the strangest thing i have ever seen on an acoustic.
it seems that they bevele the edge of the top ALL THE WAY AROUND, so that there is a gap where the neck is glued in, i thought this was straight and its rather large, sort of an eye sore, but it should be alright(i would guess)

and the hpl laminated stuff was a let down, but the guitar does sound REALLY REALLY NICE!
the fretting was pretty good and all the general craftsmen ship was prettty decent.
the one major thing that blew my mind was the "rosette" around the sound hole, it was a combo of maple, mohogany, and rosewood, and a bit of ebony in there too, just kinda cut out and filled, it was really classy looking and extremely clean for what it was.

so i get it all put together and by the time i reached a good string heigth at the 12th(3mms) the bridge is so low that it barely reached over the rosewood bridge.
so i sanded that back and found that it was a nice lil peice of rosewood but it had been ebonized, it has some great grain lines to it too!
so i oiled it as is and put it all back together , it plays LOADS better than before and still sounds really good.
im still not too keen on martins but this one has swayed me a bit.
