digitech whammy owners, verdict?
i have a really bad craving for some pitch shifting pedal madness.
does anyone have a current digitech whammy and could give me a verdict on it? or other pitch shifters.

Yes. I learnt it in anticipation of buying my Whammy IV, and it's the best thing EVER to play. So satisfying.ElCapitan wrote:More importantly, can anyone play the full Killing In The Name Of solo?
Top marks for them. Great for solos. You can do so much with them, and when you play about you're sure to find some fun. Packed full of features. Try to snap one up for cheaper than the going BIN prices on eBay, and if you hate it, but it up for BIN and it'll go for sure. No loss. You can get the adapter you need from Maplin or somewhere, so fear not if the auction is without one (it takes 12v DC).

PS-5 over the Whammy, if you ask me.
-Standard power supply
-Seperate exp and pedal make it easier to fit in your setup
-Intelligent harmoniser
-Wet/dry balance control
-Better bypass
I guess the only downside is having to buy an exp. pedal as well, but they can be had from like £15-20 if you pick up the right Bespeco model.
OR, just get the Behringer version:
