i played the clips with my squier jagmaster with a phat cat p90 in the bridge straight into the fulldrive, then into my 59 bassman ri, flat eq with the presence at about 2 o'clock. the amp was close mic'd with an audix om2 dynamic mic straight into channel one of my tascam 414 mk2 tape recorder. i then recorded the tracks into garageband, converted them into mp3, and uploaded them to soundclick. nothing fancy!

Would have been way better if you could have concatenated these together into one mp3, but anyway:
1. Light Overdrive - doesn't really do anything to me, just sounds like some fizz on top of the dry signal
2. Heavy Overdrive - again I'm not really a fan, the bottom seems to have dropped out of the signal and it just sounds mildly anemic. Maybe things higher up the Overdrive dial would be more to my taste.
3. Light Overdrive & Boost - This does sound nice.
I found one of these in the music go round here for $100, got excited, played it in the store, and was disapointed. I found the boost to be a waste on it too. This pedal fails.
