i cant figure out how the strap button on the upper horn works either

It's vintage MIJ Epiphone from when Gibson started using the same factory that made Aria/Domino/Conrad and labels like that to make Epis.

A friend of mine has one of those. The stock pickups are single coils that look a little like white Rickenbacker hi-gains. It plays pretty well, but that metal plate on the top of the vibrato is really weird. I think she paid under $200 for it.

Stock looks purdy good too, although the pickups look suspiciously like ones found on such 70's planks as Jedsons, which tend to sound poopy.

It's easy. You just put your the gubbin through the hole on the strap. It's pretty fucking simple, rob.

I had one of those, found in a pawn shop for cheap, sold it on ebay for way more than i payed.
It really played like crap.
