the classic vibes is till not as cool as the pro tone, nor the vista's
its just another series that will last for 3-5 years, limited numbers, and then sell for 2x as much second hand.

I've only played the Duo-sonic and the Tele, and didn't like either. The Duo-sonic had 009's on it, so it wasn't really the guitar's fault.

The tele I didn't like the neck of. I was just after playing a Baja for about half an hour, and then went to the Squier and the neck felt too flat both shape-wise and radius-wise. Don't know if it actually is flatter radius than the Baja, but it felt it, and wasn't nearly as comfortable.

Also the pickups sounded like ass after the Baja. Not really a fair comparison.

On the plus side, the are finished really nice, and the necks are lovely and glossy. I probably would have liked them, but it was sort of a case of circumstances conspiring agains them.

would you go for a squier classic vibe tele and swap pickups or put together a tele from scratch with warmoth body and neck, etc?
