Again-the amp itself is cheap, so i assume the cut costs by putting shite tubes in there. this again is why i intent to change out my tubes any way. like i said, if it were to blow my good tubes, then i'd be pissed. either way, you should definitely call crate, and i think the shop is right to tell you that. it's crate that warranties the parts, not the retailer.

I would just tell them, "according to quebec consumer protection law an electronic device has to work for a reasonable amount of time or the tradesman has to repair it." working for only 2 days is definitely not reasonable by any measure.

alright, just got a brand new v-50...hopefully I won't have the same problems with it as I did with the other one... I think they took my parents a little more serious than me... thanks to everyone for the advice.

and to anyone that is looking to get a new crate v-50 at italmelodie hurry up, they only have 1 left...
