i'm kinda over rob roe covers on EVERY GODDAMNED GUITAR. so leave 'em off.
I'm in the ST.Jimmy school of thought. This is actually the first mustang body I've ever built and its finally done!
Though its obviously more of a bigsby'd duo musicmaster than a mustang,

bigsby stangs are badass.
When I die, they'll say, 'He couldn't play shit, but he sure made it sound good!'

I was gonna say that... It's fucking beautiful, though. I may swipe your bigsby idea, but who knows...
If you think of god as a pair of pants, a spiritualist thinks he needs pants, in fact he wants pants but none of the conventional types of pants seem to fit just right, so he makes his own pants and is happy that his knees are no longer cold.-fibus

It's a Mustang/Duo-Sonic.

Gorgeous guitar!
I especially like the Bronco/Musicmaster 3 pickguard shape. Nice colour, too!

sorry dude, i have to disagree there. no guitar NEEDS them. some guitars look really cool with the pole pieces visible. i love strats for that reason.

Someone needs to photoshop them on to demonstrate how much better it will look.

Thanks James. I rest my case. It looks brutally hot with the robroes.
Worlds Apart in my eyes.

I think almost all Fenders and even almost all guitars look better with robroes.

Now you're just being obstinate. It's clear as day. The polepieces combined with the added distraction of the bigsby make the guitar look overly busy.

LOL. for you maybe.
i always associate robroe covers with EMG pickups. I mean, EMGs always look like they're covered in robroes with EMG stamped on them.
when i think of exposed pole PUPS i think of classic guitar rock action. POLE PIECES 4EVAR.

Blimey.
I associate them with one of my favourite Fender designs.
And with RobRoe. I love them both.

great looking guitar
roachello wrote: Note to self: Change the speed knobs Eh, I was gonna change the knobs, but I wanna keep it the way Fredo made it for me <3 It's his mojo
i like speed knobs, but maybe what's wrong with them in this case is that the color doesn't match. the pickups and switch are white, i think it would look better if it had white knobs.

I like the exposed pole-pieces. It matches up with the Bigsby better, and looks a bit more hardwarey, or something.
That's class.
wish I'd a boyfriend as would make me guitars.
